POSTCARD: "Llanvihangel Crucorney Baptist Church"
________________________ p>One in a series of reproduction postcards sold in the PB museum's gift store. Originally printed in the 1930s, the card depicts a church used as the site for early PB meetings. The church's minister eventually took exception to the gatherings, citing in a letter to Nurse: "I refute your claim that PB is a temperance society, sir. Moreover, I believe that you are treating our place of worship as little more than a public tavern." PB Trivia: The church shown is in fact Anglican, not Baptist.
