POSTCARD: "New Haven Chapter"
hr>The New Haven PB chapter in the United States, shown here in 1947, was notable for several reasons: 1) the powerful social station of many of its members, including politicians, judges and intelligence officers (note future US President George H.W. Bush just left of clock), 2) the chapter's outright refusal to allow female members, and 3) their insistence on formal wear at all PB meetings.
