HAND-EMBROIDERED PB BANNER ca. 1890 ________________________ p>This banner is believed to have been hand-embroidered by Daisy Nurse as a gift for the members of the Chelsea PB Chapter, the first chapter to officially form after the 1880 release of "The Prudent Boozer's Handbook." Each week the banner was hung in the Chelsea home of PB member Melvin Hamburg, where the meetings took place.
