OFFICIAL CREST OF THE PB MUSEUM
________________________ p> 1945 brought the end of WWII, and the museum was able to reopen, having served as HQ for the 12th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Wales for the duration of the war. That same year a new caretaker, Arthur Gittens, took the helm and, finding the collection in disarray, spent the next two years re-cataloging every exhibit. Not every item passed muster, with Gittens trimming the number of exhibits back from 1,100 to 800. This adhesive crest was affixed to those items deemed worthy of inclusion.
