PB NOVELTY BAR ORNAMENT ca. 1960 hr>This rare hand-painted metal and tin bartender figurine was purchased for US$2 at a "trash n' treasure" market in Tallahassee, Florida and donated to the museum by Ms. Miriam E. Ryan in 1981. Pieces such as this, quite valuable today, were cheaply produced in Japan for the American market until the mid-1960s when sales began to decline.
