75th ANNIVERSARY BEER CAN ca. 1953 hr>This attractive souvenir beer can was released in 1953 by the Krueger Brewing Company of Newark, NJ, to coincide with PB's 75th anniversary. br>Twenty years earlier in 1933, Krueger had been the first brewery to ever offer beer in a can. Owner Gottfried Krueger, a well-known supporter of the movement and a member himself, based this can's design on that of their first beer can.
