POSTCARD: "Plaque adorning HN III's Travel Bar" ________________________ p> This postcard shows the brass plaque affixed to Henry Nurse III's traveling cocktail set. The travel set was a gift from Oxford University in 1884 when the institution awarded Nurse an honorary doctorate for his pioneering work in the field of Habitual Moderation. It contains a pewter martini shaker and stirrer, and two crystal martini glasses emblazoned with the PB emblem.
